Membership Info
Rossmoor Lions Club invites you to become a club member. To do so, please complete and send the Membership Application. A club representative will contact you to answer any questions you might have and invite you to the next meeting.

Dues

Individual: $100 per year (available as $50 installments)

Joining as a couple, Partner’s dues: $78.50
Portions of the dues go to support the club’s administrative costs, the Lions District we are a part of, and the national Lions organization.

July - June. Dues are paid in May or June.
Lions Organizational Structure

41 Bay Area Lions Clubs are part of Lions District 4-C3. There are many districts within California.

Locally, there are Lions Clubs in Walnut Creek (2), Pleasant Hill, Lamorinda, Concord, Danville, Pleasanton, Byron, Pittsburg, Discovery Bay, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Alameda, Oakland Chinatown, San Francisco Chinatown.
Ways to Get Involved with Rossmoor Lions Club and other Lions activities

Attend meetings and get to know club members.

Attend our eyeglass sorting events.

Volunteer at club fundraising events. All volunteers welcome.

Volunteer at the Lions In Sight eyeglass warehouse in Vallejo.

Help design flyers for fundraising events.

Help with booking speakers from non-profit organizations.

Think of creative article topics for the Rossmoor News and ways to increase club marketing.

Help with posting Lions information on the Gateway bulletin boards.

Become active with recruiting and welcoming new members.

Help collect donated eyeglasses and hearing aids in Rossmoor.

Plan a fundraising event.

Organize a field trip to an organization the club supports, i.e. Dogs 4 Diabetics.

Create a Facebook account for Rossmoor Lions Club.

Become a board member.

Offer to help the Secretary and Treasurer with administrative tasks.

Volunteer at the LCVI blind center in Pittsburg on Mondays.

Volunteer for events held by neighboring Lions Clubs (Walnut Festival, crab feeds, breakfasts, etc.).
